THE BOTTOM DRAWER
I have maintained this website voluntarily (albeit imperfectly) since 2008. It grew like Topsy so I streamlined it in 2017. The Bottom Drawer contains items which were saved from the Trash and includes material from SERCA's historial records such as flyers, images, movies, posters, handouts, personal accounts, etc. It will grow as time permits. Indulge me... Bronte.
FLYERS from past forest campaigns. Contact details are incorrect.
Poetry about our native forests. 'Winter Light at Wallaga Lake', Ian McFarlane; 'Wide Brown Damned, Eden Management Area', A.B. Whan; 'Fire on Gulaga', Bronte Somerset, 'The ANZACS' Incense, Denis Kevins.
Stories about our experiences.
Talk by Suzanne Foulkes, Murrah, near Bermagui, Far South Coast of NSW 18.09.2008.
A clash of cultures: The Fate of Myrtle Creek Catchment Area. Bronte Somerset
Dane Wimbush 1934-2015. Husband of Robyn, campaigner, teacher, scientist, ecologist, confidant and friend.
Richard and Carolyn Green 09.11.2015. Whose exceptionally beautiful photography still helps us to promote protection of the native forests of southeast NSW. A tragic loss to family, friends and those who share their passion for the natural world.
John Hibberd. Husband of Sylvia. I didn't know John, but I can tell from the legacy of his writing that he was a luminary in his endeavours to right the wrong of native forest logging. His writings are as relevent today as when he penned them. Thank you John for your committment and for continuing to inspire us lesser campaigners. Bronte.
